Counselor Referral Form

My name is Misti Jennings and I am so excited to be on this staff serving as your school counselor. Not only am I the counselor at school, I am also a LCMS parent. I have been working in education for over 20 years serving in many different positions. Counseling is by far my favorite role. Each of you deserves to feel safe, connected, and valued. If at any time you don’t feel safe, connected, valued, or think you lack anything you need to be ready to learn, let me know. I am here to help.

A few things about me. I have been married to my husband Chris, for 16 years. Together we have two adult children, a teenager and a tween. Yes, that is four kids. We also have two dogs and four cats. While our family is not originally from Tennessee we have adapted well and are loving our life here.

Should you need to see me or want to refer your child or a friend to see me, you can use the attached link or scan the QR code in your student agenda. I will get to you as quickly as I can. Remember there is nothing wrong with asking for help. We all need it from time to time.

SCHOOL COUNSELOR
Liberty Creek Middle School

I’m excited for the opportunity to work with the students, families, and staff of LCM. I’ve served as a school counselor for 16 years- all but one of those have been in Sumner County. I was born and raised in Nashville. I earned my B.A. in Psychology and my M.S. in School Counseling, both from Lee University.

I’m married to my husband of 15 years, and I’m a mom of two amazing girls. When I’m not working, I’m exploring the great outdoors or in the stands cheering on my girls on the volleyball court.

In this journey of life, we all experience the highs and lows. As a school counselor, I will be there to cheer you on and celebrate the good moments and listen and encourage you through the hardships. I don’t promise to have all the answers, but I will offer a listening ear and a safe space to let it all out. My door is always open, so let’s talk.
